Sponsor a Child
Taking up a child sponsorship gives you a window into the life of a child living in a township and struggling with really difficult family conditions including HIV/AIDS and other stressors. You will recieve quarterly updates about your child and a recent photo. The updates include some family information, school progress reports and achievements within our programs.
The iKhaya intensive support program is a holistic and highly structured after school care program that helps children to grow in confidence, repair from trauma and improve academically. We have a high staff to child ratio to ensure that children can recieve individual attention when needed. We also support families to ensure that the family unit stays intact.
The cost of sponsorship is R450/45 Euros per month. THe money from sponsorship is used to pay for daily meals, stationary, books, staff salaries and other progrma support as well as individual needs such as school uniforms or specialist medical care.
